But the majority of times I need to swiftly say &quot;thanks, and no.&quot; (There&#039;s a conflict or something far too hard to orchestrate to get to a &quot;yes.&quot; And the effort or planning or whatever just doesn&#039;t move me.) An immediate no would clear the task out of my in-box, off my to-do list, out of my mental file of undone things.
